Ryan Lang hails from Osoyoos in the interior of Canada’s beautiful British Columbia. Osoyoos’ favourite son took the CIHL by storm this year, smashing all of the offensive records with 71 goals and 34 assists.  A professional and a gentleman, both on and off the ice, he has been a great ambassador for the CIHL.

 Ryan Lang來自於加拿大美麗卑詩省內的Osoyoos。他今年在CIHL有如旋風般出色的表現，以71分與34個助攻的成績擊敗所有球員的進攻紀錄。不論在場上或場下都有專業且紳士表現的他，可說是CIHL最佳大使。

John Osmar is a 24 year old from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.  In his sophomore year in the CIHL, “Ozzie” stands head and shoulders above the rest of the net minders in the CIHL.  Cat-like reflexes and an extremely low profile helped make him Goalie of the Year for the second year in a row.

 John Osmar，24歲，來自加拿大Cambridge, Ontario。今年是他在CIHL的第二年，以他如貓咪般靈巧的身手與低調的態度，“Ozzie” 領先其他的守門員們，連續兩年贏得年度最佳守門員獎。

John Deng had the best year of his career playing with Wolves super center Ryan Lang. John Deng became very proficient at putting himself in the right place at the right time… a regular Johnny on the spot.  The CIHL is looking forward to seeing this young local talent continue to develop.

 今年是鄧文甫在他曲棍球生涯中最棒的一年。與同為野狼隊超強中鋒Ryan Lang的共同合作，在鄧文甫靈活運用在”對的時間出現在對的地方”的技能，讓野狼隊交出一張漂亮的成績單。CIHL很期待這樣年輕有天份的當地球員能繼續發展。

Kevin Yu was a standout player this year, stripping opponents of the puck so often that it’s no wonder his friends call him The Hamburglar.  Kevin was particularly dangerous in this year’s playoffs as he helped lead The Sharks to the championship.  This year Kevin had 19 goals and 10 assists.

 游凱文今年的表現十分出色，常常在對手不知不覺的情況下把球偷走，也難怪他的朋友都不得不叫他一聲漢堡神偷。今年最後決賽，在他的帶領下讓鯊魚隊贏得最後冠軍寶座，他的能力也因此被認可。游凱文於本季共得19分、10個助攻。

Jason Peters, or Vocab to his friends, suited up in 2007/08 with the CIHL for his 3^rd season.  With hard work and lots of practice, Vocab caught the eye of the judges and earned the coveted Most Improved Player award.  Jason had 4 goals and 6 assists.

 Jason Peters朋友也叫他Vocab，今年是他於CIHL的第三年。他的努力與練習讓評審們眼睛為之一亮，也讓他把今年的最佳進步獎帶回家。於本季共得4分、6個助攻。

中華冰球聯盟 2007/08球季 決賽

恭喜台北老虎隊繼上一季拿下第二名亞軍後，本季又成功取得晉級準決賽的資格。經過84場精場比賽後，本季的賽事已邁入最後高潮。目前聯盟的八支隊伍已淘汰最後兩隊：高雄野馬及台北犀牛，而台北老虎及台中獅子則分別以最高、次高的積分直接晉級準決賽。

預    賽   本周六在台北小巨蛋將由上屆冠軍 第六種子 熊隊 vs 第三種子 台北野狼隊 於晚上9:15率先開戰。晚上10:45緊接登場的第二場比賽是 第四種子(2006年冠軍) 嘉義鯊魚隊vs第五種子 新竹野獸隊。所有比賽皆可免費入場觀看。

準 決 賽   周六晚間獲勝的兩支隊伍，將於周日繼續迎戰初賽以最高積分出線的兩支種子隊伍，第一場比賽為 第一種子 vs 老虎，第二場比賽為 第二種子 vs獅子。

決    賽   有藉於去年的決賽吸引超過千名觀眾入場觀賞，我們決定於本季推出一連3晚的3場冠軍爭奪賽：第一場5/23 (五) 21:15、第二場5/24(六) 21:15及第三場(如有需要)5/25(日) 19:45。

所有比賽皆免入場費 – 請記得攜帶件外套或小毛毯，並準時到場享受這精彩、刺激的比賽！

Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey League Season 2007/08 PLAY OFFS

 

Congratulations to the Taipei Tigers for their Presidents Trophy win after a 2nd place finish last season. Now in after an 84 game regular season we move into the business end of the season. Of the eight teams in the league the bottom 2 teams, Kaoshiung Mustangs and the Taipei Rhinos have been cut and the top two seeds, Taipei Tigers (1) and Taichung Lions (2) get a free ride through the Quarter Finals.

 

QUARTER FINALS    This Saturday night at Taipei Arena sees current Champions Bears seeded 6th vs. Taipei Wolves seeded 3rd from 9:15pm at Taipei Arena. The second match up sees the Chaiyi Sharks seeded 4th (2006 Champs) vs. Hsinchu Raptors seeded 5th from 10:45pm. FREE ENTRY to all games.

 

SEMI FINALS    Will be played on Sunday night with the winners of Saturday nights games playing the top two seeds, Game One against the 1st seeded Tigers and Game Two against the 2nd Seeded Lions.

 

FINALS    After last year where we attracted over 1,000 people for the FINAL game we decided to up the ante this season by introducing a 3 game series over three consecutive nights Game 1: Friday 5/23 21:15, Game 2: Saturday 5/24 21:15 & Game 3 (if required): Sunday 5/25 19:45
