Robert (Bob) MacLeod, 34, was born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, Canada. Blessed with a cannon of a shot, Bob has been punishing CIHL goalies for 3 years. Always ready with an easy smile and a pat on the back for teammates and opponents alike, Bob exudes sportsmanship and class. The CIHL is honored to have him.

John Long is Mr. Hockey. Born in Pickering Village, Ontario, Canada, this 38 year old is as dedicated and talented as they come, but particularly stands out for his hockey sense. An offensive threat, the Raptors were always a danger to score when John was on the ice, but it was his tenacious back checking that earned him the honor of being named the league’s best defensive forward for the second year in a row.

Ryan Lang hails from Osoyoos in the interior of Canada’s beautiful British Columbia. Osoyoos’ favourite son took the CIHL by storm this year, smashing all of the offensive records with 71 goals and 34 assists. A professional and a gentleman, both on and off the ice, he has been a great ambassador for the CIHL.

John Osmar is a 24 year old from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. In his sophomore year in the CIHL, “Ozzie” stands head and shoulders above the rest of the net minders in the CIHL. Cat-like reflexes and an extremely low profile helped make him Goalie of the Year for the second year in a row.

John Deng had the best year of his career playing with Wolves super center Ryan Lang. John Deng became very proficient at putting himself in the right place at the right time… a regular Johnny on the spot. The CIHL is looking forward to seeing this young local talent continue to develop.

Kevin Yu was a standout player this year, stripping opponents of the puck so often that it’s no wonder his friends call him The Hamburglar. Kevin was particularly dangerous in this year’s playoffs as he helped lead The Sharks to the championship. This year Kevin had 19 goals and 10 assists.

Jason Peters, or Vocab to his friends, suited up in 2007/08 with the CIHL for his 3rd season. With hard work and lots of practice, Vocab caught the eye of the judges and earned the coveted Most Improved Player award. Jason had 4 goals and 6 assists.

24 year old Dennis Chou was a real superstar in this year’s playoffs, undressing the defense and scoring the game winning goal with 0.2 seconds left to send the high scoring Wolves to an early playoff exit. Dennis had 6 goals and 9 assists this year earning him the trophy for Rookie of the Year (Local).

Steve Clark, 27, was born in Vineland, Ontario, Canada. In his 4th year in the CIHL, Steve proved himself a leader in all aspects of the game, leading the Rhinos 2008 squad in goals, assists and penalty minutes, all while earning top honours as the CIHL’s Defenseman of the Year.

恭喜台北老虎隊繼上一季拿下第二名亞軍後，本季又成功取得晉級準決賽的資格。經過84場精場比賽後，本季的賽事已邁入最後高潮。目前聯盟的八支隊伍已淘汰最後兩隊：高雄野馬及台北犀牛，而台北老虎及台中獅子則分別以最高、次高的積分直接晉級準決賽。
預 賽 本周六在台北小巨蛋將由上屆冠軍 第六種子 熊隊 vs 第三種子 台北野狼隊 於晚上9:15率先開戰。晚上10:45緊接登場的第二場比賽是 第四種子(2006年冠軍) 嘉義鯊魚隊vs第五種子 新竹野獸隊。所有比賽皆可免費入場觀看。
準 決 賽 周六晚間獲勝的兩支隊伍，將於周日繼續迎戰初賽以最高積分出線的兩支種子隊伍，第一場比賽為 第一種子 vs 老虎，第二場比賽為 第二種子 vs獅子。
決 賽 有藉於去年的決賽吸引超過千名觀眾入場觀賞，我們決定於本季推出一連3晚的3場冠軍爭奪賽：第一場5/23 (五) 21:15、第二場5/24(六) 21:15及第三場(如有需要)5/25(日) 19:45。
所有比賽皆免入場費 – 請記得攜帶件外套或小毛毯，並準時到場享受這精彩、刺激的比賽！
